New and Proposed Routes 🆕
SkyWest Airlines (OO) will add 2x daily flights from Abilene, Texas (ABI) to Denver (DEN) and daily to Houston Intercontinental (IAH) from mid-March. These flights will operate under the United Express banner. A three-year revenue guarantee from the City of Abilene and others was key in bringing a second carrier to Abilene.
Avelo Airlines (XP) looks to be adding and resuming a handful of routes in February, how long they last is anybody’s guess:
Atlanta (ATL) - Lakeland, Fla. (LAL) and Wilmington, Del. (ILG)
Chicago O’Hare (ORD) - Concord , N.C. (USA) and Wilmington, Del.
Detroit (DTW) - Lakeland, Fla.
Nashville (BNA) - Concord (USA)
Eurowings (EW) has added a handful of new routes to their schedule, with each set to start in the middle of 2026: Düsseldorf, Germany (DUS) to Karpathos, Greece (AOK) - weekly from May 19; Prague (PRG) to Ibiza, Spain (IBZ) and Brindisi, Italy (BDS) - weekly from June 1 and 3, respectively.

AeroMexico (AM) will add two flights to Spain next spring: 6x weekly from Mexico City (MEX) to Barcelona (BCN) get underway on March 28, while a 3x weekly run from Monterrey (MTY) to Paris DeGaulle (CDG) starts on April 13. Boeing 788s are slated for Barcelona and 789s for Paris.
Condor (DE) will add a weekly flight from Düsseldorf to Sulaimaniyah, Iraq (ISU) on December 16, as well as a daily sector from Frankfurt (FRA) to Tbilisi, Georgia (TBS) on June 15.
Spanish discounter Vueling (VY) will add daily flights from Seville, Spain (SVQ) to London Heathrow (LHR) in the spring. Exact startdates have not been announced, but the timeframe is late March or early April.
Aegean Airlines (A3) is adding 5x weekly flights from Larnaca, Cyprus (LCA) to Brussels (BRU) on December 1.
Volotea (V7) is adding weekly flights from Palermo, Italy (PMO) to Paris Orly (ORY) on April 3.
